    Warning CF Card issues found

John K had a bad CF card during the Airshow this weekend and it should serve as a warning to all of us. I had no idea that things can go so badly but here is what happened!

We started out at 4:45AM and leaving we kept smelling something like rotting Milk with an underarm type twist. Not wanting to say anything, Tim and I were sitting in the front seat trying to figure out if it was Brian or John because it was coming from the back of the truck.

Upon arrival we were shooting everything in sight!

Things started really getting bad and I realized it was John, I did have a plan tho!

Things continued to go down hill fast and it seemed the freefall would never end....

Sometimes it seemed to get better but it was just conditions that were beyond our control making it seem a little better....We did not have the heart to tell John but found out later that was a big mistake

the people moved far away from us and seen here at the end of the day, all but a few people had left the area and were packed on the south end of the field.

(quotes were given from Tim on what he was thinking at the time)

When the card Fails the smell get much worse as shown in this graph

Here are some examples of the bad images taken with the Failing CF Card

    First the Colors went

Then pictures started to merge and become unusable

Aircraft stated to warp and the camera was ID'ing the planes incorrectly and was making modifications to the aircraft

(here the standard F-16 was turned into the Famous F-16XL)
Here is some more info on the actual F-16XL (LINK HERE)

Then it just started to invent new aircraft types!

The last step before it completely went south was when it just made planes un-postable

So for the love of GOD, if your friend has some CF Funk going on, LET HIM KNOW! I am sorry John, I will try to be a better friend.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

I have been asked to walk out of a meeting because I could not hold my laughter!!!! That'll teach me to not click on your posts while in a meeting...

Jesus, this has got to be one of the funniest things I have read ... Fred, you seriously need an outlet at your local tabloid newspaper... really, syndicate this stuff man, it is PRICELESS!!!!!

The looks on Tim and Johns faces are just MasterCard moments indeed. Oh what fun it is to ride on a one Derf open sleigh!
