It was great to get out to the RI ANG Open House again for the first time in probably ten years. What made the day really great was getting to hang out with a great group of guys from NYCA. Fred, Tim, John, and Brian it was great to meet you guys and spend the day shooting with you. Manny, Saturday night was great at Smokey Bones and was good to see you at the show on Sunday. And Eric it was great seeing you there too.

Here are a few shots I have gotten processed so far.....Hope I haven't repeated anything:

Started off the morning with some C-130 prop vapor

Tim....this one's for you! I gotta say, the more posts of this girl I see on here, the better she starts to look.

This girl was a beauty! And ohhhh did she sound great!

    Its Fat Albert time!!!

    More to come......

You have to love a plane with a door that looks like it belongs on a Battleship!

It doesn't get much sexier than the Sherpa!!!

Since this is a spotting site primarily, let's pay homage: EgyptAir Flt 985 from Cairo (HECA) to JFK (KJFK) tail number SU-GDL flies over NAS Quonset Point (KOQU) ... Boston Center had her at 36,300 feet at this time.

You got the Egypt Air, but did you get the Air France A380?
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

    You should respect your elders

Not on Sunday but did on Saturday... had my long lens on the Full Frame camera so the quality is pretty poor :-( I was also set up for props and forgot to change to Aperture pri etc. Sorry for the poor quality.

    Where are yours?

lolol did you have a bad CF card? There are too many colors in that contrail! I should shop that ;)
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Super hi res image of T-39 Sabreliner. At one point during the show, I was walking around taking environmental shots and got too close to the Sabreliner to cover it in one shot. Not feeling like walking back and having to dodge people getting in front of me, I decided to do a super high res stitched pano... the link below will take you to a Zoomify version which allows you to zoom in and see the details.

Manny, that's excellent. Super detailed for sure. I need to do some hi-res panos myself. What program do you use?
