Anybody seen a 787 moving around in NYC airspace yet?

Yep, did two low approaches at JFK but I was too lazy to head over.
I think if this happened you would have a few threads here about it.

Is it making a stop on its way back from the Paris Airshow or something?
I would think the would head east to head back no?

Closest it's come to any of us in the east is when it was in Ft. Lauderdale awhile back I think Mark Lawrence saw it then but not sure and our lads in the Pac Northwest (Jeremy and Brandon) see it about everyday. It did a trans-continetal flyover and came close to Boston at about 39,000 but no landings or anything.
I really hope I get a chance to shoot it with my D3s before I have to return it back to Nikon for sensor cleaning. (takes FOREVER)
I see it pretty much daily. The 748F has been around occasionally though...passed through Boston awhile back. I'm sort of surprised it hasn't gone to JFK or BOS yet really...I'm sure it's time will come soon enough.
Also Dave, Nate, Tad...I think one or two others :-)our lads in the Pac Northwest (Jeremy and Brandon)
And if I remember right a few folks who are around here work on them...

I touched it already :)
I miss the chance to see it at JFK
I have seen a number of 787s at PAE and was taken on board 003 as part of the VIP tour with the Star Alliance Megado in November...So Tommy appears you aren't the only one who has touched the 787.
It's the fares, stupid
