    KRP thunderbirds

Thunderbirds are on tour in Europe, and this tuesday they were making a stop for refuel and overnight in Karup AFB denmark.
Wednesday they were scheduled to make do a non public flying display for the military only.

I drove up there to catch landings, in which it appeared that they had the airspace for 30 minutes to practice.

The weather was crappy. But nevertheless I caught one of the two C-17 support aircraft, and all 8 F-16 :-)
(the last C-17 was planned to land a couple hours later, and I had to go back to work)

    Here are the shots.

Nice shots. (I always like to photograph the lead solo, #5, upside down; that way the number 5 is orientated correctly, LOL.)
