    KPHX and KRNO 6/2/2011 - 6/3/2011 (5 specials)

Well, I finally got to take my trip out west! I had a three hour layover in PHX so I decided to step outside to the Terminal 4 parking garage. Boy that is a great location to spot from, although maybe not the best location during mid-day.

I saw 8 specials on my trip so far. The first three I do not have good images of, and of those 3 2 have no photos at all. My flight in CLT was parked next to a Star Alliance Usairways. While taxiing out to the runway in CLT the Piedmont and Carolina Panthers schemes landed back to back.

After only 2 days it has turned out to be a very rewarding trip. Well here they are. Enjoy!

The first good capture of a special this weekend.

    Now onto RNO 6/2/2011
First plane I see in Reno is a "special"

    and another special sccheme

    Nevada ANG "High Rollers"

    This morning @ RNO 6/3/2011
Yes, there is snow in Nevada in June!

And the two wonderful surprises waiting for me this morning

    Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks guys! I love spotting out here! I may squeeze in some mire in the morning or late afternoon.

Manny, you are too kind. And to answer your question, yes i feel this is my best work ever. And it feels great to have shared it with you guys.

I'll post more later. Plus my return layover thru PHX on sunday. And a special visit i made to a local airport out here

Bill - Thanks! And yes, yes I was. I was even more excited to get the special colors I did on the return flight through PHX. Will post in a new thread later on tonight when I'm done editing!
