    Omega Air Refueling B707 Down at Point Mugu

    An Omega Air Refueling B707 has crashed at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Southern California. All three crew members on board escaped with minor injuries. The aircraft appeared to have run off the end of the runway and was destroyed by fire.

    Other reports say it happened on take off, and the aircraft was carrying approximately 150,000 pounds of fuel.
