I already posted this weeks ago. The A380 will not be a daily flight; sometimes the B773 will be used instead.

Update. The new Korean A380 will NOT be coming on Aug.2 to JFK as previously announced. At the earliest, expect its first arrival on Aug. 7. I spoke in person to a KAL executive in Manhattan and he wasn't even sure about Aug. 7 so I will keep you posted. After its introduction, it will only visit Tu, Th and Sat as well.

Thanks for the update..........I'm kind of glad of the update from Aug 2 to Aug 7. If that's the case, then I should be able to catch the inaugural flight.

Pretty sure it goes daily in a few months as they receive more deliveries.

Not anymore... They have to prove they won't shut down JFK with a wing strike on the lovely new 13R/31L

Funny you say that. So I start off in Northeastern Bronx and it was just gorgeous... the whole trip down to JFK, gorgeous. No sooner than I cross under the 22L lights, the fog starts to roll in. I figured it was a temporary thing. No way, it continued to get worse and worse until it was completely covered. The A380 would appear no farther than about 1 DME through the clouds...
