    LAX 4/23/11

Greetings from Los Angeles! Spring time is here in California, and the sun is staying up long enough to get photos of the late afternoon arrivals, of which I was very excited to get photos of Philippines and China Southern. The weather was great yesterday, so I decided to stay out for the whole day and hit several different locations. The light got better as the day went on. It was great to catch some special schemes, as well as the usual LAX traffic. I was hoping to see the United retro, but got the Continental retro instead, can't really complain. Take care, Brian.

Brian.....great catch of the retro Continental and the 24R late afternoon arrivals! I have to make it out there again one of these days and spot with Larry and you (and Josh if he's around).

Very nice set! My favorite is the China Southern 777.

Is that China cargo a sub or regular now? Well done!

Thanks for the comments guys. The China Cargo is pretty regular, but I don't see it as often as Yangtze River Cargo, Asiana Cargo, or Cathay Cargo. Yesterday was so strange cargo-wise. Saturdays is usually pretty busy with freighters, but the only ones I saw were the China Cargo, Mas Air Cargo, and ABX.

Great shots Brian! I have definitely got to make it out to LAX for some spotting. I wish we got China southern and Air New Zealand here on the east coast.

Hey Brian, I absolutely love the set! wow!!.. That Continental retro is very desirable :-)

I am going out there for two days of spotting in May, wouldn't mind hanging out with someone who knows their way around :-)

    Thank you
