Nice shots, guys. I was hoping to do some spotting yesterday after arriving from DCA but the weather wasn't ideal, although you did well despite that, and my parents were reluctant to pick me up so I took public transportation home. I certainly miss JFK, it can't come close to DCA or even IAD. Good thing I'll be home from school in two weeks and can do all the spotting I please!

Thanks Gordon... by the way, if you EVER AGAIN get stuck without transport, PLEASE give me a call and I will GLADLY take you home... gessh! I mean come on, we are a community In all seriousness, the offer is always open. Same goes for spotting. If you need a ride, hit me up...

as far as weather goes, I tend to find every time I go spotting in poor weather I am rewarded with a surprise or two so I don't mind it. This time I got the SP and the Transaero 777-200 ... but Smugmug is down again so no posting for a few :-(

By the way...........Manny and I experienced the most craziest go arounds yesterday. Two aircraft (simultaneously) performed go arounds.......a Delta on approach to 13L (banked to the right), and a Delta on approach to 22L (hard bank to the left). It was wild, and the funny thing, it wasn't "Breaking News" on any of the network news stations, not even CNN!!!

Mark, before you met up with me, two American 737s also went around .. and you forgot the final go around the 737 on 13L that went hard left and over the 22L arrival... :-)

If the news media makes a big deal abotu S turns and go arounds, for whatever reason, they need to see the world's busiest airports in action. There are times I wonder how the controllers can keep all that metal flying around straight.

Here is the Transaero and a Delta 747
