    LGA 4/15/11 Morning Shots

I upgraded to the Canon 60D last Sunday and did not get a chance to use it, I was itching to get some pics and couldn't wait till the weekend, so stopped at Planeview Park for an hour before work

This guy came in right away, new catch for me

And the usual cast of LGA

I'm with ya on that! Sunday certainly is looking good. Can't wait to try out the 30D that I bought as a back-up while we're out there. Only 8MP, but I remember a professional I knew a few years ago rave about it! Will be good to throw the 24-105mm on it for some nice wide angle shots.

I just wish Sunday would get here already!

Was thinking of LGA this week but that VIP came into JFK yesterday so I bagged LGA today. If they are on the 4s Sunday I may head out.

Great Kaz! I love that simple US Airways, the light on it is beautiful.

Judging by the forecast, I'm thinking it will be 22s in the AM and then switching to the 31s around lunchtime and staying there as the winds are forecast to be about 20mph starting from the WSW and shifting to from the W around 11:00. If they do that it will make for some good Bayswater 22R departures in the morning!

Mets are away so a JFK morning and LGA afternoon could be in order. I would love some Marina stuff.

THat would be good too, but I gotta stick by JFK. Still a bunch of stuff I have to get for the first time or just flat out get better shots of.

Kaz! 60D huh? lol... sneaky upgrade. Why did you? Just curious where you felt the T2i was not enough camera for you :-)

NICE pics, love the Falcon Airtran.

Thanks Manny !! Yes, it sure was a VERY sneaky upgrade ... I was at a friends house and was checking out his, felt faster to me and a few more cool features plus the fold out lcd and just over all felt better for my hands, don't get me wrong the T2i is more than enough for me and its an awesome piece.
So I made my self a deal, went to Adorama the next day and went to the same manager that I go to all the time and just asked him if he would trade in my T2i for the full price and I will pay the difference, if the answer was YES I could not lose, what do you know, I guess he was in a good mood and did not even say a word, just told one of the sales reps to bring up a new 60D and for me to see the cashier, all together cost me an extra $300 and I walked out a happy camper :)

Great Shots Kaz... you were able to get to LGA earlier than me, and were rewarded with better light! :)

Hope to see you out soon,
