Can't download Java

One of my favorite sites,Passur, which shows aircraft arriving/departing from major NYC airports, uses Java applets. Unfortunately, my iPhone refuses to download Java. I guess there was a problem with licensing. It also won't download Firefox. I attempted to download Java on other cells, but got the same result. Are there any phones that can show Passur? It would be great for spotters despite that everything is shown on time-delay.

Java is not supported on mobile devices. As Kenny stated you can try the Skyfire browser as it sort of emulates Flash and Java with limitations. However an easier solution would be just to download a flight tracking app, there are hundreds of them.
