DAY 3
The morning started out overcast, cold and windy. I don't think it broke 60 degrees until I left on Sunday. During the mid day the sun showed up for a while. I still have about 500 or more photos to go through for day 3 (which I'll post tomorrow), but this is what I've processed so far. This was my only time shooting at night as well for a couple of hours with Josh and Larry. I was very pleased overall with the results except for the Qantas A380, because she never stopped long enough to get a good shot off. Enjoy!
Getting towed to the gate
Alaska just about to hit the taxi way
British Airways heading out
Virgin America getting ready to taxi out (sorry about the lightening rods)
V-Australia heading out as she starts her engines
Air Canada getting ready to taxi as well
Getting towed to the gate
Qantas A380 getting pushed back (unfortunately she didn't stop long enough to get a sharp image)
A mixed bag of traffic at the gate area
LAX Tower (sorry about the lens flare)
V-Australia early morning arrival (but got lucky as the sun briefly shined)
Volaris with a special scheme
WestJet
Horizon with one of the special college schemes
Southwest with Arizona scheme
Thai (from what the local spotters tell me this usually shows up in the evening so it was an unexpected early arrival)
