GIVEAWAY: Post Your Favorite Planespotting Spot, Win Plane Finder App for iPhone/iPad

The Plane Finder app for iPhone and Plane Finder HD for iPad lets you track planes in nearly real time while you're on the move. Possibly the best tool yet for planespotters, the iPhone version delivers just about all the data you could ever want: Aircraft registration, aircraft type, airline, speed, course, route, squawk code, and more. Plane Finder HD for iPad brings you all of the iPhone's features on a bigger screen, plus popup photos of the planes you're tracking.

Available through the iTunes Store, the iPhone version (which also works on iPad) will normally set you back $4.99, while the fuller featured Plane Finder HD is $7.99.

But we're giving away 8 of each FREE.

Just post your favorite spotting location in this thread, followed by which version you would prefer. On Saturday, April 9th, we will randomly pick 8 for each version. Entries must be posted by Friday April 8th at 11:59pm ET.

Spots I have been to or ones I wish to go to? LOL

Well, hard to beat Bayswater while JFK is on the fours in the morning!
Recently experienced Maho Beach finally! Can you argue with proximity?

My favorite spot would have to be Planeview Park, NYC for La Guardia Airport! My parents have been taking me there since I was a little boy and for hours I would watch the planes and the loud noises would never bother me. Still go there today 16 years later and enjoy every second of it. Brings back great memories!

I would not spend $500+ on a super-sized iPod so iPhone version please! :)

"THe Mounds" in the late afternoon when JFK is on the 22s. Love watching the heavies floating in over the houses.

The AOA at JFK has yelded some very nice opportunities but it is hard to get new angles and poses. Id have to say HoBe for the beautiful rotations on departures. Nothing like a nice wing flex during a rotation.
Ipod(Iphone version) would be me. Good luck all.
