There is a chance that I might be there, but the weather forecast looks appalling! In any case, I will keep you posted if I get anything good :)

So I guess QR83 never showed up? I was there from 2 to 4:30 and never saw it. FlightAware had an n/a status for it too.

Where and when did it land? I was at Bayswater and never saw it... Also, anyone knows where the Emirates A380 landed? It totally took me by surprise as I was watching 4L departures/arrivals and 4R arrivals... I turned my head toward the tower and it was slowly parking. 13L arrival?

Anyway, here are my shots of the day... Tough conditions! Saw a nice go around over 4L at some point, just prior to AFR6's arrival.

Bayswater in this weather. Are you crazy? You get an award for that. Nice shots.
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

Haha! As I was driving to the airport, I was really wishing they'd switch to the 31s and they never did... Then the rain/snow/hail stopped and I thought "what the heck" so I pushed to Bayswater. Of course I was dressed moronically, which made it an overall COLD experience.

No kidding! Either you're really dedicated or you have alot of time to burn, especially for the suffering you surely endured at Bayswater. Nice set despite the conditions!

I particularly like the shot of the Air France A380 coming out of the snow and haze. Nice!

I agree. Definitely not your standard blue sky arrival shot.
