Nice shots manny. That finnair MD-11 is like a NWA DC-9 for me. Always advoids. Or in my case glancing a look to see when its comming hoping it waits till after im done moving boxes. Then it flies past me. DOE. Its curse lives on in this MD-11 Although looking at flightaware it never departed to head over here. Its late Anybody see a sat arrival?

Great stuff guys! Really wishing I had taken yesterday off. Guess I'll have to wait for LH400/401 to operate the A380 on Saturdays to come grab her. Only a few more short weeks til that happens!!

Love the shots of the Air China btw! Just beautiful.

    Steve,

The light was so dramatic for the Air China as she climbed out. Unfortunately the light turned for the worst for the Lufthanasa A380.

Nothing like Dark Clouds in front of you and bright sun behind to sandwich a nice looking plane in a bank. The LH was scheduled to leave after the Air China but it got delayed at the ramp and took forever to taxi. By then the queue got deep and these clouds rolled in out of nowhere in minutes.

Even then, there was a nice gap for a long while but sadly, it closed completely by the time the Lufty took to the skies.

No worries as it will eventually be a daily... but I hate waiting!
