Hey, Well this past weekend the weather was great up here in Calgary. Managed a ton of spotting and photos and even met up with other photographers. Kinda rare actually to all be out at the same time. Here are the highlights from the weekend.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds did a fly over at the Heritage Classic on Sunday.
Then the rest from two days of spotting.

Funny you ask. I was on my way when I glanced back and saw this sitting at the Esso Avitat ramp. I found a spot to turn around and go and catch it. A fellow spotter was already there taking some pics as I arrived. I went in and asked when it was leaving and the response was simply due to private and confidentiallity blah, blah, blah etc we cant give that out. Fair enough. I got home and did some research and according to Airfleets.net the Air Norstrum is now in storage. I assume now here in Calgary. Isnt the first to come to storage. Most likely will maybe one day fly for another airline as I have never seen one come for storage and then fly out for the same airline but could be used for parts as well.Originally Posted by GothamSpotter

Wow, very pleasing light... love the KLM A330 shot! and as Matt M. said, what's up with that Iberia plane? lol. I wonder how far it would make it across the Atlantic before it had to ditch
...and the airTaxi is from Congo, Africa? lol... superb paint job, love the zebra props, nice touch.
