Formatting in posts

Is anyone else having an issue where blank lines are being lost in posts? The last couple of posts I've made, I've put a couple of blank lines to separate paragraphs, which is the norm for that sort of thing. After posting, I see that the blank lines are gone, and when I go to edit the post, my BBCode tags have been converted into HTML, so I usually just insert a pair of < br > tags where I wanted the spaces. There doesn't seem to be anything in my Settings to change this.

Try switching the editor mode to plain text and see what happens..

As you can see, I am not having the problem... maybe it is your editor mode? Also try it in a different browser!
