    LGA 2/13/2011

Stopped by yesterday on my way home for about an hour, light was not great at all.

This was going to be my catch of the day but of course they changed runways right when she was about to take off !

Here are some departures from the day, just the usual cast, enjoy !

PSA... ! Sweet... I still have only ONE spotting of it... and the Piedmont only on the ground :-( now I need the Piedmont in the air and the PSA on the ground to complete my collection... hehehe

Where did you spot from? Light was definitely not great this weekend. Friday it was beautiful!

OK cool... love that spot, especially for afternoon arrivals to 31. I have to make it to the 22 arrivals spot in College Point. Never been there. Or afternoons from Hunts Point or nearby... although I am not sure about taking out my gear in Hunts Point Market LOL

There was a good bunch of RWY22 departures yesterday as well, from I've seen from my window. Wanted to run to Plainview but didn't have the car :(

I went to College Point before, nice and calm area but everything is wayyy too far for my little 200mm :-/

Knew I should have walked further down the boardwalk, looks like we were there at exactly the same time! I was sitting on the water-level floating pier, down a ramp on the end of the Marina from 1500 until the 1630-ish switch. Great shots, I haven't even gone near mine yet as the light was fairly putrid and was only rockin' the 200 - now you've inspired me to check them out, I'll post some shortly

What length were you generally using for these?

Martty, sorry we missed each other ! Yes please post some of yours up, love to see them :)

As far as length, I was anywhere from 100 to 400 depending on their direction, some would just go right in front of me from left to right and some would make a sharp right, just over my head
