Hi Rom, I've shot the 55-200 on a D40x body and the key with that lens is...f/8, f/8, f/8. Shoot in Aperture Priority and go with the lowest ISO you can to support shutter speeds 1/250 or better. Also, use the center focus point to make shots to stay in control of where the camera is focusing.
You will probably want a more versatile lens after a while. A relatively inexpensive step up is the 70-300mmVR. Both of these lenses have correction modules available with the D60 in DxO which is the raw editor that I use that take care of the color fringing and vignetting, and their default preset works pretty well.
