Lens Help

Haven't decided if, when it ever sells, it'll go towards a 300 f/2.8 ($4,500) or a new body 5Dmkii with the 24-105 ($3200).

Jeremy, I love my 5D MKII, especially with the 100-400 in front of it. I would absolutely love to have a 300 or 400mm prime lens to throw on there but unfortunately I just don't have that kind of cash to throw at it. One of these days though.

I'm in that same boat...going through a full bathroom re-modeling at the moment has put a stop to all toy/gadget purchases....

I think right now I'll focus on some of the smaller gadgets, like some smaller lenses (50mm, 16-35mm) or a better flash before spending big bucks on long range glass. That is of course unless the lottery gods decide to smile down on me one of these days.
