EASTERN AIR LINES " ghost from the past"

In 1983, EASTERN AIR LINES became the launch customer of the Boeing 757, wich was ordered in 1978.

    (BOS/KBOS)

They took delivery of the new Jetliners with a natural metal finish, made popular by their old slogan "The Great Silver Fleet". The lack of paint reduced weight by 100 pounds.

The 757's are powered by a pair of 40.000 lb. thrust Rolls Royce RB 211 turbofan engines.

    Agreed nice.
