    Delta 'indefinitely suspends' Cairo operations

Delta Air Lines has "indefinitely suspended" flights from New York's John F Kennedy International airport to Cairo, Egypt amid widespread unrest across the country.
The Atlanta-based carrier confirms Delta Flight 84 operated with a Boeing 767-300ER to the Egyptian capital has been cancelled for 28 January.
In a communication via Twitter, Delta says its last flight to Egypt, Flight 85 which flies six days per week, will depart Cairo for New York on 29 January and service will be "indefinitely suspended as a result of civil unrest".
Additionally, Egyptair JFK station chief Amr Elmorsy, tells ATI that Egyptair has not suspended operations and both inbound and outbound flights for 28 January remain fully on schedule.

Funny, I was wondering if Delta or Egypt would suspend first as I watched the 773 land today at JFK.

I imagine this has more to do with not having a crew layover in Cairo, and not wanting the added expense of stashing a crew in BCN/FCO/wherever to quick-turn CAI before handing the jet back to the original guys for the leg home.
