    EWR 1/18

Last year I didn't do a whole lot of spotting and passed on some stuff I'm now kicking myself for. But getting back into it a bit and even thinking about my first trip to JFK in over a year. HZ-WBT7 flew an odd routing tonight LSZH-JFK-EWR-LSZH. Spent an hour on the ground at JFK and then over to EWR for 3 hours, thats almost $14k in landing fee's for JFK and EWR alone! Drop in the bucket for sure

Thanks guys, had another Saudi visitor tonight, HZ-NSA. Its been over 3 years since I last saw it here. Also USA Jet has a MD-80 painted up for the U2 360 World Tour that will resume in April. It was picking up the Rangers to go to RDU and the bus pulled up so no shots. Something to look for possibly at LGA in the future

I saw the U2 MD-80 at FLL a few weeks ago. Reg is 949NS. Saw VP-CPA and HZ-RCA at the airport on Monday, then HZ-NSA from the train this afternoon. I thought I saw something with a green tail behind -NSA. Is there something else there aside from the two I've mentioned above?

Very nice looking shots! 30 second exposures, no caffeine for you, I can't shoot anything less than 1/160 second

Mateo, the only other a/c you might have seen behind it from the train were 2 all white Kalitta 747s, a Capital Cargo 727, and DHL DC-8. There was a Miami Air 737 all the way by where the old de-icing tent was but that is in the hybrid scheme, so it doesn't have the normal green tail. Jeremy, I drink lots of caffeine, just have to use a tripod and remote! Also last night a Saudi Royal flight 777 came in. Also the 747SP and medical 757 went into JFK, the SP was scheduled to ferry to EWR after I left work last night.

Ah, right - something like 752MA could certainly be it. With the Saudi flotilla in full effect this week, I was hoping it wasn't one of their BBJs that I still need.
