    AF1 to JFK

No TFR posted nor a NOTAM but Air Force One is defineately going to be coming in at some point... Yesterday one of our fellow members wittnessed the helicopters and a C130 come in... At sunrise this morning I watched the C17 arrive...

The C-17? OK then the cars are here... The C-130 brings in the security equipment, radio susbystems, weapons, telemetry, binoculars, etc. etc. The C-17 caries the armored vehicles and other large heavy stuff... this is from what I have seen being loaded at Andrews years ago...

    Weird, maybe a practice drill.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Maybe Obama's here to buy a Verizon I-Phone from Steve Jobs?

He was supposed to go to Schenectady tomorrow, but it's been postponed.

We (Manny and I) saw the C-130 coming in from HoBe, and then saw it at the triple hangers. Unfortunately my shots came out lousy, so I decided not to post them.

Tangentially related; Sarkozy is going to be in New York tomorrow meeting with the Lebanese PM and the Saudi King, so heads up for one of the Republique Francaise machines somewhere in the area.

Where are you seeing that, Mark? There's nothing listed on the FAA site.

Interesting with the C-17 and C-130 coming in. Test run maybe.

I believe his trip to NY was cancelled for today. I remember reading it somewhere earlier today.
