January 6th 2011, Traffic Spoils The Mood

Mark and Mark both called me re: spotting today and I really had no way to go early since I had work. By the time I was able to escape it was too late for anything... add to that the unusually heavier than normal traffic jam on the GCP/VWE.

Mark, Mark, sorry I didn;t even bother calling as I got there very late for anything. Did end up at The Mounds, met up with Conrad and chatted for a few until sun went down. Then 1 1/2 hours back home :-( It makes me sick to my stomack days like this when the trip is for naught!!

ALMOST caught the El Al Cargo from Brookville... this is out the window of my car while moving. Trust me, it is blurry!

Yeah, I overdid it in post... but I am tired LOL

Yeah, the sky did look like this on this shot... cool colors on 22R

This one I love the way it came out!!

    Light is going going gone

Well, one more for the road!

I was going to catch up with Mark, but as I was listening to the radio, and looked out the window they switched runways. Plus the light was going down hill as well. Depending on what the day looks like, I may be out tomorrow once I get a few errands done.

Both times I've seen the JB 10th Anniversary plane arrive at JFK, it comes minutes prior to sunset (happened yesterday, too). It looks like it did it again today :) Nice pics!

Thanks guys...! Cary, the 10thA does replace other routes and it does indeed come in under full day sunlight ;-) I had the same problem for a while. Yesterday it was even early LOL. It has been darker!
