    JFK - 12/29 (Image Heavy)

The first two days of my winter vacation were spent shoveling snow, but yesterday and especially today made up for it. I spotted with Matt (from Australia) virtually all day, and meet up with Manny during the course of the day for a while as well. Morning light was less than desirable, but we stuck it out and the sun finally started to break through. Here are some of the results from today.

    Catch of the day

    Catch of the day again

    Saudi Arabian Cargo

A different view of North American

Emirate Sky Cargo 777, unfortunately I didn't have a wide enough lens with me

Damn .... this scheme is awesome

Another treat......usually catch DHL departuring but not arriving

    South African departing off 4L

    Sat there the whole day

    Trans Aero on the gate

    Trans Aero departing off 31L

    Trans Aero (rear view)

    Caribbean departing off 4L

    Finally got this little guy

    TAM (full of names)

    A close up view

Nice meeting Matt from AUS and spotting with him and Mark as well. I dismissed the TAM as a regular livery... I should pay more attention :-(

Mark, nice images. One is a dead ringer for one of mine, were you standing next to me? LOL

I think this was operating for Shamrock (Air Lingus) Catch of the day/year! as Mark would say :-)

Look at the stress on the front wheel carriage

For the second day in a row, the 777 replaces the A380 on Flight AFR6

Great shots, guys. Nice catch on the Titan and China Airlines departure during daytime! I'm glad someone caught the Emirates SkyCargo 777. It came into SWF on Tuesday morning and left yesterday morning and unfortunately I wasn't able to grab a shot.

I was waiting for the SkyCargo to leave in vain as it DID NOT MOVE ONE INCH :-( and since the light was gone, I attempted to entertain myself by taking a little video with my iPhone 3Gs crappy camera... here is the expected crappy result!

These poor ladies came in during daylight and were taxiied around and around and came to rest here for a few hours... things are still bad in T4!

Hiflyer thank you! I do want to catch it either in the air or taxiing... hate fence shots but if all you could get... I take it :-) I was not able to go by the spot after beecause I was running late ... if it is still there today or tomorrow, I will try to snag it properly. This is the second tme of talk about horses. Last one was the Cielos Cargo at the same spot!

To all ..... thanks for the feedback. It was well worth it. Passed by JFK earlier today, but not much stuff on the ground. Titan Airways (the 767 with the Sun and Stars), was sitting by the triple hangers (not sure if it's still there). They were using the 22s this morning. Might head out again this afternoon for 22 arrivals. Will post Titan Airways by the triple hangers later tonight.

Great work guys. I'm stuck home sick this week, and these images are just what I need to mentally feel better.

...or feel worse! For me it would make me feel worse not being able to go :-)

    Thanks for the kudos!
