The 727 has been on the market for around 12-18 months already, and the 757 is N757AF, orig delivered to Sterling (Denmark) in 1991 (so not that early a model actually) and has been most recently owned by Paul Allen of Microsoft fame. Personally I hope the 757 is given a similar scheme to the 72, but a much more modern interior. I understand the aircraft is currently in BQK being modified.

I'll miss seeing that 757 around here in Seattle. Though it may not have come out too often it was really something to see.

i sure hope he keeps this at LGA, though if he kept it on his current parking spot he'd knock out another due to the size of the airplane. i too hope it gets repainted into this black scheme! finally something to actually look forward to at work!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

757 should look very nice if he decides to keep the same colors as the 727.

    Apparently it's official now...

PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Palm Beach, Fla., resident Donald Trump says he upgraded his personal air transport, replacing his Boeing 727 jet with a 757 model twice the size. The real estate tycoon shelled out $100 million to buy the jet from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and wouldn't say whether the jumbo business jet would have the gold-plated luxury appointments of the 727, The Palm Beach Post reported Wednesday. "I bought a great airplane," Trump said. "It's being retrofitted and will be in service in about a month."

Who wants to chip in and buy the 727 so we can turn it into a club house?

Chris102, that is the original owners registration, good chance before entering service it may get re registered, as the 727's Bermuda Reg is for tax purposes, we will have to wait and see.

In case anyone's interested, I heard 757AF is being worked on at KBQK (Brunswick, GA). Must be at Stambaugh Aviation.

Hopefully it will be changed--I'd love to be able to track this one to hopefully see what it looks like when it's finished.
