    Thumbs up Lufthansa Sends A380 to JFK Starting Feb 15th

    Lufthansa will begin flying the A380 to JFK twice weekly beginning Feb. 15th, according to a Lufthansa statement on Twitter. Days will be Monday and Friday, no word on exact schedule yet.

    Lufthansa will be utilizing the A380 on LH400/401 which arrives into JFK at 12:40pm (1:50pm winter schedule) and departs at 3:35pm (3:55pm winter schedule). Effective March 27th the A380 will operate four times a week (x236) and from April 12th it will be daily.

    Lufthansa has postponed the launch of the A380 to JFK until February 28th.

    Deciphering, at least I believe I have it right:
    2/28/11 - 3/26/11 A380 on Monday/Friday and A330-300 on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday
    3/27/11 - 4/11/11 A380 on Monday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday and 747-400 on Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday
    4/12/11 - A380 every day
