First the Thunderbirds abandon us, then the F-22 bails, and now Steve...it sure isn't a good year for the show!
We'll miss you Steve!

Fifi is coming today around 4-5pm
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
This probably ends my posting of images until after airshow. You may see a picture or two but with hundreds a day to post process, it is not possible as I do not get much sleep from here to the end. If I am posting any more pictures it is probably as it needs to be post processed for special needs. I leave you with this shot I took last night. I wish all a safe Airshow and hope to see all of you as I fly around today in Paul's T-6 for our annual airshow preflight.

Any update on the F-18's coming in that someone posted a few pages back for the parade of ships?

I friend of mine just reported an E-2C Hawkeye flying over his home in Bayshore. I'll head to FRG at lunch to see if anything shows up.
The FA18's that flew in Fleetweek this morning are not going to Republic. They returned to their bases after the flight. Only the V22's are remaining local in NJ

I posted a few pictures in this thread if anyone's interested of Fifi:

Not sure if there are any rules about double posting images.
Also, while at the airport I was speaking with someone who works for BFCU, he mentioned that there was going to be a Predator at this year's air show and it was staging out of Gabreski Air port. Take it with a grain of salt as he was calling a stealth Predator, so he may not know his aircraft too well. It would nice to see one as I have never seen the Predator or any of the stealth planes other than the Nighthawk 11 years ago in Arkansas, and even that was only a static.
