I don't know what the deal is with that page - looks like it has the list from 2009, with the Thunderbirds, Snowbirds, and Horsemen, none of which are scheduled to be here this year. This page: http://www.jonesbeachairshow.com/aircraft.html looks to be more accurate, listing the F-22 and A-10 demo performances.

The Thunderbirds have Memorial Day weekend as open on their schedule as that is when they will be traveling to Europe. They perform their standard flyover of the USAFA graduation on Wednesday, May 25, then their next show is the weekend after Memorial Day, June 4 & 5 in Turkey. That's a 10 day block of time to pack up, move everything across the pond, and get set up to perform over there. Not that I'm happy about it, but that's life...

That's weird that the old performers page from 2009 is still coming up for you??
because when I just clicked on the performers link page I see it has recently
been updated with all the 2011 scheduled performers so far.
    Try this link instead:

Edit: Oops !! For some reason I didn't see your post Moose until after I posted mine !!!
I guess I had the page open too long before answering !!
    Sorry about that !!!

BTW, I was listening to Warbird Radio before and they were interviewing
The President of the CAF, and he mentioned they were happy they'll be
bringing their B-29 "FIFI" back to Long Island for the Jones Beach show,
AND he's also hoping to do a special photo flight over the Statue of Liberty too!!
I thought Fred would be especially HAPPY to hear about that possibility !!

There is a glitch on the site and the 2009 page will randomly come up.

Drool..... Man, I wonder if that would be the same day as the fly-by at the beach or seperate. Would hate to be at Jones Beach to watch the show and miss out on a chance to get her in a photo flying past the Statue of Liberty.

this is a sick logo .. I guess the F-22 is the headliner and we shouldn't hope for another name .. I have a sneaky feeling we may get some more metal though.

On their FaceBook Page Bethpage Airshow has the following,

This year, the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach will help commemorate America’s Centennial of Naval Aviation – a true milestone for our country! With this, we are pleased to officially announce this year’s lineup for the Air Show, taking place Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 28, 2011 and Sunday, May 29, 2011, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

To date, the following world-class military performers scheduled to perform include:
U.S. Airforce F22 Raptor, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, A-10 East Demo Team, United States Air Force Heritage Flight, 106th New York Air National Guard Air Flight Rescue Demo HC-130/HH-60, World War II B17 Flying Fortress, World War II B25 Mitchell Bomber, World War II B29 Superfortress.

The leading civilian performers to date include:Sean D. Tucker – Team Oracle, John Klatt – National Guard Reserve, GEICO Skytypers, David Windmiller, American Air Power Museum Warbirds, and Mike Goulian.

Stay tuned for more exciting details about this year’s performers and show lineup!
    and

Did you know that on January 18, 1911, a civilian pilot named Eugene Ely became the first person to ever land an aircraft on board a ship, flying a Curtiss pusher onto a makeshift wooden platform constructed on the armored cruiser Pennsylvania in San Fransisco? Then, on May 8, 1911, Pre-World War I, Capt. Washington Irving Chambers, United States Navy, officer in charge of aviation, prepared contract specifications for the U.S. Navy's first aircraft to be purchased from aviator and inventor Glenn H. Curtiss, making this day the official birthday of U.S. Naval Aviation. Now, 100 years later, Naval Aviation has scored an impressive list of achievements in both peace and war and the Centennial of Naval Aviation, kicked off this past January, includes a year-long celebration of events and commemorations including airshows, art exhibits, flyovers and tactical demonstrations. The Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach is proud to be included as one of the U.S. Navy's official 2011 Centennial Events, one of only a few East Coast air show stops for the Centennial Flight!

For more information on the Centennial of Naval Aviation, go to www.facebook.com/navalaviation100 or www.navalaviationcentennial.org .
They do a lot of talking about Naval Aviation but so far it is all Air Force. Guess we will see.

The 2011 Navy Tacdemo schedule for March is now posted: http://www.navy.mil/navco/airshows/TACDEMO.pdf

As you can see they will only be posting the schedules one month at a time.

WOW, that's weird the NAVY will only be releasing their TAC Demo schedule info month to month now ?? WTF ??
The ACC didn't have a problem posting half of their 2011 Demo schedule already and will post the other half later this month !!

Does the term Tacdemo imply something different other then a what we have seen at Jones Beach before or is this the usual 10-15 minute air show routine?

The Navy TAC Demos are just the usual 10 - 15 minute demos flown by
the F-18 Legacy Hornet & Super Hornets from VA-106 and VFA-122.
The Navy usually posts the TAC DEMO schedule for the entire year at once,
but now it seems they're only going to post it from month to month this year
FYI- I emailed the PAO of VFA-106, so I'm hoping he'll get back to me and explain why they had a change their policy this year as to when the schedule is released.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
