    JFK 11/20

Weather's looking good; partly cloudy and in the 50's.

Anyone else planning to head out?

For at least a few hours. Not sure if I can make the whole day... but I will be out there :-)

Was only out for a couple of hours, nothing extraordinary. This Cayman Air was a nice surprise this afternoon. Too bad it got 31L. Isn't this usually an evening flight only?

Also, Qantas One WOrld came in and it was the FIRST flight on 22 after they switched from 31 ... they could have allowed [it] to land on 31R for the spotters. Moving to The Mounds takes too long and I caught it from the car as I was driving up the windy road from Rockaway :-( This is the third time I try to catch the Qantas and it failed me again . I really thought I had it today ... I was keeping track of it on Approach but they never spoke about which Runway. Once it was switched over to the Tower is when I noticed they switched runways.

Oh well, there is always next time :-)

Light wasn't amazing by any means because of cloud cover, but I tried to use that to my advantage and snapped off a couple going off 31L.

Did any of you guys catch a North American 757 taking off on 31L? It was real light, so an early turn, but I happened to be on it.

Too bad, no... what time? I was mostly at Panera and was only at 13L for about one hour at the end of the day.

Just went through the rest of my shots.

Check out this hybrid Delta with traces of both the new and old scheme. Notice the block of white paint under the new titles.
