    Cargolux B747-8F at BOS 11/14/10

About an hour late, making the lighting very tough. Took off and landed 15R and 33L a few times. A most excellent aircraft!

awesome airplane! just don't like the red tail.. the scheme off the 744s looked much better.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Dan I am so jealous :-) I am dying to see the new beast! Does she register on FlightAware or any trackers? Super shot... is that from the parking garage at Logan

It was from the Central Parking garage, where you have a pretty clear view of runway 15R's touchdown zone and where the heavies usually pull in to terminal E. Could have gone to the Terminal E walkway to get it at the north cargo ramp, but my schedule was tight and I wasn't sure if I could have walked over there. It turned out that the plane was an hour late (I was told 9 AM for the operations, but it didn't take off until 10) so it was moot.

Nice shots Dan, glad you got it. I was up in and around Boston on Saturday and wished it had landed earlier, but sadly had other plans on Sunday.

Ah OK, I see that flight... and many others BOE501, 502, etc. etc. Keeping it on radar from now in case it comes near like Boston, JFK to test it on RWY 31R just in case... they need to test it here since it will likely fly here hahaha (I wish).

    Dan, great catch indeed!

Boeing test flights are rarely "on-time". It is lucky if they are within 15 minutes of the flight plan.

    BTW, great catch, Dvincent!
