    JFK - 11/12/2010

Stepped out this afternoon to catch the Emirates A380 under better lighting conditions at Bayswater Park. While waiting for her to come in a sibling of hers (Emirates 747 Cargo) came in on 31R. I waited around for the Emirates 747 freighter to depart and was able to get a few shots as she taxied. The images were taken at ISO 2000. Not the greatest but better to have something then have nothing! Here are some image from this afternoon and evening:

What I missed while waiting for the A380 at Bayswater

Finally.......she's on the move!!! Not the greatest image quality, but it will do!

OH!! You nailed it!! good stuff. You still had tons of light... Did you have to use a much higher ISO for the later shots? I have to catch me that Cargo, love the look. BTW, Emirates A380 also flies on weekends it seems? My friend has never seen one. He will be excited. I had told him they don't fly it on weekends. I am speaking as if he can't see this LOL. He is a member here before me. "Woz"

So I guess it left on 31L? Otherwise I know you would have had a shot of it rotating from that spot. If 31L, you could have made it to HoBe to catch it after she taxied past you? I bet you could have

I believe you can post right away, but I can't say for sure.

Here are two others that I missed (but which I caught already a while back), as I waited for the Emirates A380. These two virtually came in right behind the Emirates freighter. Oh well!

I only have Habitat on the ground taxiing on 4L to take off. The other one I do not have (China Eastern) and I want it yum!. Nice one. Of course, the ONE day I can't make it out at all they have a few surprises. SUPPOSEDLY the special Cathay Pacific was also out here... as per ACARS but now they updated and it is not there.

@vaca05, you can post like you just did :-) Since you have 5 posts under your belt, what makes you think you can't? You just need your images on a hosting site and then just link the JPG using

Nice Shots, I am still seeking a nice shot of Aeroflot and Virgin Atlantic. I love that aeroflot shot though. Nice vantage point.
