    LAX - 11/1 and 11/5 (image heavy)

Had a recent business trip around the Los Angles area and made time for some spotting. Met Larry again a local spotter (thanks for showing me the other spotting locations), and met Carl. Here are a few captures (I still have plenty of images to go through). LAX is an awesome place to spot. Enjoy!!!

Some super great shots there, I am jealous of the Astrojet. I am hoping to get the green All Nippon Cargo in ANC on monday.

Hey Mark it was great to see you out here at LAX. Really great shots! When did you catch the China Southern Cargo? Never seen it out here. Nice catch on the Nippon Cargo and ATI. If you are out here again let me know. I will email you my email address.

That China Southern always seems to come in on Mondays at least, I have gotten it the last 2 times down there.

The China Southern came in on 24L some time on Monday afternoon as I was having luncheon in the Burger King parking lot and spotting from there before I headed back to Imperial hill. When traveling to the LA area I always look forward to doing some spotting at LAX. For more images from LAX check out my site: http://mbsphotography.smugmug.com/Av...s-and-Spotting

    Here are some more:

Not the greatest image because it was on the otherside of the field, but it was a unique Air Canada jet to me.

Great shots! Where were you at to capture the HAL A330? And also that united A320 shot, or 600MM lens?

The Hawaiian was taken from Imperial Hill. All the shots posted here were taken with a Nikon D300 + Nikon 80-400mm lens (wise I did have a 600mm lens). The rest is some post processing and cropping. By the way, the Air Canada shot posted was taken from Imperial Hill while she departed off of 24L. Thanks for the comments!
