    JFK 11/01/2010

Finally snagged the Etihad F1. What a gorgeous Livery on this plane. Pictures don't do it justice. Fading a paint job on a car is HARD... I can't imagine doing it on such a behemoth.

Some other captures from Firestone. Met two other spotters.

Finally she landed on the correct RWY

I really like the old livery although the new one is cool too.

I really think this is one of the most elegant of logos.

Finished at Bayswater as they changed the RWYs to the 4s and 31L. Froze my butt off as I only had a light jacket, no gloves, no scarf, no hat! It was worth it... we do it for the pictures!

First time seeing this Delta in Habitat for Humanity Livery

    Size does not matter.

    What are you looking at?

    Coming through

    Long trip ahead

    Thanks for looking

Thanks Mark... it was a total surprise... I heard them check in and figure it would the typical Etihad F1 livery which is nothing more than regular livery with F1 text in the back. When I looked closer, it looked too dark to be the reglar one. I knew then it had to be the F1 :-)

How rare is it? or is it basically once a week or so?

It used to be once every couple months, or at the most, once every couple weeks. Now that I've finally gotten it, it decides to come daily. :P (Well, not really daily, but more often than before I got it.)

Every time is different; it could come the next day, or you might not be able to see it for weeks. It all depends on their aircraft rotation.

Alaska's Starliner N569AS was the same way, after I got her in PDX it seems she is always on the ramp trying to get me to take more shots of her now lol.

Thank you Yves. That is the first time I have been at HoBe late in the day, with good weather and JFK using the 4s ;-) It is addictive...
