    Show off Your Website!

I'll be the first to admit I'm doing this mostly out of pride, and partly out of curiosity.

I recently completely redesigned my private website, and am proud to show it off, and always looking for feedback.

    http://www.tisdigital.com

Of course, I'd love to see what other people have come up with, and explore a little bit of this site's members' photography outside of big metal birds!

I really like the site but the first page with bride, airplane, car...etc looks a little off.
I think if you did a slideshow of different images and cycled thru your best images on the homepage it would look a little better. When you click on a section and it takes you thru the slideshow looks great, layout great but having all the images slapped into one image as the first thing people see is a little off in my opinion.

I am soo sorry to give ANY negitive comment on something so well done. You should be very proud as all the images are great, the website is very well put together. It is only one opinion on one picture. I would give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Excellent Job, I feel bad saying what I feel because it is very good and I hope you do not think I feel otherwise.

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Thinking about it some more, if you did all Wedding photos, and then all car photos, and then all airplane photos in the same multi image white border look and cycled thru that, it would be hot. I think my issue is a 747 next to a bride next to a ricer.... Hmmm

as is show up my website with all those hot women! I never get tired of looking for your updates!

Another favorite of mine is John Moose's http://moose135.smugmug.com/
I usually will run John's site on my iPhone at work cycling thru images. People tell me all the time that I am an incredible photographer,
usually they think that Johns images are mine. I do not correct them

Thanks, Manny. You've got some great work on yours, too! I tried SimpleViewer Gallery for my website and couldn't figure out how to embed it with my CSS. Oh well!

No worries about the comments, Fred. I live to learn, and [I think] I handle criticism very well, as long as it's explained and logically presented. You're 2 for 2, there, so thank you sincerely. I'm not 100% happy with the front page image, either, but I felt I needed SOMETHING there. I'll look into modifying it slight, if I can, though I'm not exactly sure what you meant in your next post, when you said, "Thinking about it some more, if you did all Wedding photos, and then all car photos, and then all airplane photos in the same multi image white border look and cycled thru that, it would be hot." Care to elaborate, please?

Another question I've got for you all is, does the TISDIGITAL.com logo at the top of my page distract? I've been told everything from, "It's great!" to "It's awful and is too 'in your face' to be acceptable." Opinions?

Where I was trying to say in my second post is make a picture with 4 or 5 wedding pictures only...then have it change to a picture with a montage of aviaion, then cars.... my only issue with the first page is it looks to mis-matched with a Bird, bride, plane and car. I think I would like all the same type of images together (but contrast would be great, ie one night aircraft, one snow aircraft, one black and white and one artsy shot.

The logo on top is plain, it works but it is plain. I see nothing wrong with it but I would imagine you will alter your logo a few times as I and most others have (exception to NYCA as Phil and Matt make a perfect website on the first shot everytime....SHOWOFF's!!!)

Thanks for understanding I was not trying to be harsh as it is great stuff.
