I enjoy watching "Amazing Race" on CBS but those airline segments are so silly. First, it shows the contestants departing on a Virgin B744 and then it shows them landing at their destination on an Airbus. It sure is "Amazing" since all the passengers and crew aboard can switch aircraft mid-flight. This would make for a terrific action show. Only us aviation enthusiasts would even notice this. They only show the aircraft to advertise the company and probably the contestants fly for free. It happens every season. It even shows the contestants boarding the aircraft without passing through security or waiting on long lines. Of course, we know that most of these so-called reality shows are rigged anyway and edit-out the boring parts.
