A friend of mine coordinates a little weekly car show at the Broadway Mall for his chamber of commerce. I hadn’t been down to see it before, but he invited me last night as they were going to have some “special guests” and wanted me to shoot some pictures. They were scheduled to have two vintage fire trucks, a 1966 Checker cab, and the Nassau County Police were going to have two vehicles on display. One was a 1950 Ford out of their museum. The other was one of two Dodge Charger patrol cars the Highway Patrol has been using the past two years. As a Mopar guy, I've been interested in the police version of the Charger, and while I’ve seen them out on the LIE, I've not had a chance to get any good photos before last night.
