So around 3am I hear fighter jet/s overhead in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn. When I finally get around to looking outside, standing on my backyard patio I spot one of them around four thousand, maybe six thousand feet up (?). It was hard to tell only seeing his nav and collision lights. Does anyone know why we he or they were circling? They were heading north.

Spotters have been Homeland Security before HS was a glimmer in the president's eye.
Heard at least 1 reference to an F-22 southbound at 5000ft in the area of the U.N. while listening to JFK tower's exchange with the USCG helo, Guardian 1
UN week. there will be CAP flights over the city. just a fact of life these days....
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
