    "Formula 1" Etihad Airbus

On Labor Day, I was at the beach. I saw many foreign airliners heading to 13L over Rockaway but one looked strange. I learned it was an Etihad A346 in the "Formula 1" livery. On the tail fin is a chequered flag design. How often does it visit JFK? I usually see the regular livery. I also saw the AFR A388 over Rockaway too. Many aircraft were using the Canarsie Approach coming down the Hudson to LENDY. An exciting time including several lifeguard rescues.

Formula One is a Ethiad "special". Its the only a/c that has this livery. It doesnt show up at JFK too often. Once in a blue moon it shows up out of nowhere. It isnt an easy bird to track if I am correct.

Yes, I have seen it only once on Labor Day from the Coney beach. I agree that it only comes once in a "blue moon".
