Great stuff guys, since i live about 17 miles from SWF i could not get a lift over there to get some shots.. Shame!! I did manage to see the Chiliean Air Force Boeing 767-300 on downwind, couldnt be able to grab it..

I believe in an event of an emergency or problem with AF1 at JFK and the President was in the city they would helicopter him up to Stewart. Quick flight time and the plane would be ready to roll as soon as Marine 1 had wheels down.
From Downtown Heliport to SWF - 48.4 Nautical miles
From SWF to JFK - 53.9 Nautical miles
From ADW to JFK - 179.8 nautical miles
BTW how was the weather tonite on the South Shore by JFK? It looked like a marine layer had rolled in at least out here on LI. Thanks.
Here are some from today.
Best shot of the day. IL-96 departing Hobe. You just have to look really hard Oh the fog... Damn you.
And one notable non VIP. A380 on the go around due to foggy conditions. One of many.

Hey Eric, my IL-96 shot looks just like yours!
I think this was my best shot from HoBe!

Aargh; was hoping to see the Azeri at Stewart tomorrow on my TEB-SWF-HPN-JFK loop. With west winds forecast, JFK would be arriving on 31R and 22L?
Here my captures for the day (Friday), unfortunately the weather was not the best (fog and haze for a good part of the day). I tried to salvage what I could with some heavy duty post processing. By the way, the Japan took off around 7:15pm (well after sunset).
A little different look of AF-1 with some post processing using Topaz.

More stuff from Saturday, unfortunately I couldn't stick around that long because of other commitments.
Although this is a unrelated UN Assembly aircraft I caught this guy in the cargo area while passing the triple hangers.

Nice shots, Mark! It was good shooting with you this week.
I heard from Eric. He went down to HoBe after Kids Day, and it sounds like he got the Iraqi A300!

Great catches Eric from both airports. I can almost here the sweet sound of the 707 departing !
Eric, super catches!!! Ditto on the Iraqi.
Does anyone know if anything will be going on tomorrow (Sunday)? By the way, Sunday is the annual Columbus Day parade in Howard Beach. I believe the parade starts around 1230-ish. If you plan on doing any spotting tomorrow from HoBe, get there early, because Cross Bay Blvd will be traffic hell...........spotters you have been forewarned!
Here's another that I caught today........Uganda gulf stream
Eric, the Iraqi AND the Czecd bird. Oh my goodnesss. Immaculate!!
You just took the best pic o that Czech plane yet. I have yet to see that jet.
I have missed the week but look forward to the warp up thread.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
