Canon fixes 5 year old camera for free

Check the link, its a quick story about how Canon fixed a 5 year old camera for this customer for free. Great way to ensure a customer keeps coming back.

I can attest to Canon's outstanding customer service, reliable repairs, and fast turn around time. I've used Canon twice for repairs and they were great, and one item was out of warranty by a year but like the story in the link, it was a known issue so Canon took care of it. No company is perfect but the real test of customer service is when there's a problem, do they get it right.

Be nice if Nikon did the same though I find their imaging equipment better Canon's CS is far superior. Every time I have dealth with Nikon's CS it has been awful, their phone center is not even them it's some subbed out company in Canada I think. They look at the same site we look at when you call them. It's really a shame.
