    Thunder Over The Boardwalk 2010!

Since Coney Island is officially out is anyone planing on making it over to AYC? I'm trying to arrange plans to get over there this year because I went last year and it was one heck of a show.

I may try to hit that up. ACY is pretty convenient to get to, especially from NYC. I took Greyhound from there once to the PA, and they had all brand new buses with power outlets and wifi and it was like $25.
Also, I think Academy has roundtrips for like $30 and most give you a $25 comp at a casino that you can cash in so it's almost free.

Looking at the line-up and the fact that I'm on vacation I'm seriously looking at heading down for the this. Just waiting for a few things to fall in place. I'll probably take the bus and maybe go in the night before.
Just a question did anyone use the "Flightline Club"? Is it worth it?

Might decide to splurge a little.
    Thanks.

Gerard, I did the Flight Line Club last year and it wasn't anything spectacular and I'm not doing it again this year. The food wasn't the best and the only good thing about is that you have a little tent you can stand under if it gets a little too hot. As far as the seats and view they are alright. The flight line club is set up in show center and the seats are those plastic lawn chairs. One good benefit is that you are close to the PA system because the PA system at this show is pretty weak so I suggest you bring a little AM radio and tune in to 1400AM.

where exactly is show center? I have only been to AC once, and the only place I know is the Tropicana. Thanks.

The Tropicana is actually south of show center by about a half mile...maybe even a little less. You'll want to use Boardwalk Hall as a show center point. Closest casinos are Trump Plaza and Caesars. The Golden Knights' jump zone is actually adjacent to the said Flightline Club.

Oh and if you've got a Trump One card, you can get reduced parking all the time. Instead of paying whatever ridiculous fee for parking (I think last year it was $25), Trump One members pay $5, and joining is free. I'm sure Caesars and the Tropicana do something similar.

Guys thanks for the replies concerning "Flightline". As of now it looks like I'm heading in Tuesday afternoon and staying the night so I dont have to rush Wed morning.
Also Greyhound has a nice round-trip for $35 and lots of departures after the show. FYI -Wed morning they have a 7:30AM bus that will get you there by 10ish. That is the earliest bus
unless you want to leave at 1:30AM. And considering the real flying doesnt start until 11:17AM (Fighting Falcons) thats not so bad.

Yeah I went there early last year and the roads werent bad but I felt like crap at the end of the day. This year I'm gonna stay at trump on Tuesday, Wednesday and then come back Thursday. It should be a lot better that way.

Yes it should. That is one of the reasons I'm letting Greyhound doing the driving for me. Sit back, pop on iPod and close my eyes.

Was wondering what the heck the "Brazillian Smoke Squadron" was and was pleasantly surprised.

Hotel prices are jacked this year!

I was trying to stay at the Trop but they're asking close to $200/night. I picked up a room @ the Hilton for around $120/night.

FYI- You can still get a decent room for $75 /night if you're willing to stay a little inland,
that's only about a 10 minute ride to the Boardwalk also
