Thanks. Maybe 7 & 8 are the aircraft to be used for this afternoons Intrepid Fly-Over. Weather not great in Manhattan so who knows if this goes on.

I posted it on ASB but just in case, if anybody has the Freq's, could you plesase IM me with them? Thanks!

I'm heading down with the tribe in tow tomorrow morning. Since I missed Westfield, I'm hoping to catch some of the demo's practicing on Tuesday. A lot depends on the wife's mood though.

A bunch of people are probably meeting up at Hooters for wings on Tuesday after practice. If you're around, please join us! Look for the Big Bald loudmouth with 2 cloned offspring in close proximity.

I am still thinking about going. Was in AC yesterday, trying to figure out where the best place to watch from would be.

LOL sounds good but my bus doesnt get in till 4 (depending traffic) then over to hotel to check in. I was just at the Hooters in Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
on draft was incredible. As were the wings and waitresses

Someone wrote that Florida Avenue was Show Center (By Trump Casino) and it looks like from Mapquest Aerial view there is more beach to the south of that
location than to the north. There are also a couple of Piers to the north of that also, not sure how much obstruction in viewing they would have though I wouldnt
think so with the aircraft up high.
Also weather wise temps look to be running cooler than usual for this time of year with highs only in the low 70s. Rain should hold off for the show but there possibly
might be some showers tomorrow for those coming in early.

It sounds better than it did last year. I almost passed out on the beach. Also a lot of people are saying they wouldn't mind a vaporfest.

    Safe travels everyone!

I will drive to AC tomorrow morning, then back in the evening. Because my 7D developed a sensor malfunction at Westfield air show, I will take my old XTi to the show. If you see someone with a big 100-400L on a tiny XTi, that would be me.

    Post show review:
All demo teams flew their low show.
Golden Knights did not jump due to weather.
    The HU-25 got caceled
The 103rd SAR demo got canceled
    The NJSP Helios got canceled
The smoke squadron did not do their "smoke demo".

Even though the weather held the show back a bit it was still great!

Yes it was an enjoyable show. And there was more sun than I thought as I have a red face.
    The SuperCobra was also cancelled.
I thought the Smoke Squadron was pretty good. Started off slow but built up. What is their "smoke demo"?
The hovering Harrier was pretty awesome!! Friggin LOUD!!
And loved the double Dauphin demo.
I hung out between the Tropicana and the Hilton. Good sight lines and moved down to the beach line for the Harrier/TBirds. One thing is that people who stayed to the
north of the Caesars Pier missed out on some good stuff. I was out last night walking around figuring out where to go. Good recon there.
Oh and the freshly squeezed lemonade with vodka was also quite good.
