I really wanted to stay at the Trop again but the rates were $199/night. It was easy with the kiddies last year as my wife just took them to the pool deck.

I'm on the beach either way!

This is the first I heard that the Coney show was canceled. What happened? Couldn't they get sponsors? I was looking forward to this being a Brooklyn resident.

Go to the "Thunderbirds at Coney" thread in the "Events" Forum for info.

Actually its been updated again and a SuperCobra AH-1W Boat Assault has been added at 12:59PM and the show ends after the Thunderbirds, not at 17:00.
Interesting that the NJSPD Aviation Unit Fly-By is not listed anymore.

Gerard, I got that info from the airshow organizer who made a post on Airshow Buzz. They must have updated it after he posted. Also I believe 1700 is when the TFR expires. He said they have until 1700 just in case of bad weather or other issues.

Ken, that enlistment ceremony is when the swear in new airman to the USAF right before the Thunderbirds are about the perform.

Here is the updated schedule: http://www.atlanticcitynj.com/!userf...edule-rev2.pdf

They will also have a practice show on Tuesday but the flybys usually do not participate.

Yeah they probably keep updating till the last minute. But this Air Show promises to be awesome. And (knock on wood) the 7 Day Forecast (Yeah I know) looking good.

    Yes it is.
Btw- The PA system isn't as good as the one at Jones Beach so I suggest you bring an AM Radio and tune into 1400 AM.
