    BGO 14-07-2010

Had a few hours at the airport today. Even though it rained quite a lot I really wanted to catch the SAS A340.
Lots of grey, but wet runways and jet blast gives a nice effect.

    Loganair returning too the Orkneys

    BUC blasts away

    WDG arrives fom Bodø

KLM's 737-900 arrived just as it started to pour extra hard.

Sadly Norwegian these days mostly just sport plain white tails.

    Todays A340, OY-KBC

This Caravan was on floats before, not so fitting reg anymore.

Nice condensation from this Lufthansa CRJ.

Nice looking Unicef logojet from Norwegian.

    KBC ferrying empty to CPH.

The Norwegian charter passengers return to the harsh Scandinavian climate. Nice wet welcome.

Love the "poor weather" shots. We need to see more of this kinda thing. Good work.

Nice shots, oh how much I truly miss the SAS A343 :( I never thought I would say I miss an airbus but I do when it is the only A340 that flew into Seattle as a normal schedule around the time I worked. And that awesome silver color is there scheme. Oh Yeah!

I wouldn't be surprised if SAS returns to Seattle in the not to distant future. Both A340's that left the fleet is either back og getting back in, and the fleet is going to increase more in 2011.

Very nice shots. Gotta love when it's pouring and you still get some decent shots out of it :) .
