Greenwood Lake (4N1) Airshow - Warbirds

    I saw a poster for an airshow of old warbirds - Sept 10, 11, 12 / 2010.

'Didn't see it listed here, sorry if it was and I missed it.

Yeah it's their second annual airshow... believe the list of performers is the following...

Iron Eagle Aerobatic Team (two Christen Eagles)
    Kendal Simpson (Pitts...local guy)
    Kevin Russo (SNJ Texan...local guy)
    Kirk Wicker (J3 Cub)
    Jane Wicker (Stearman wingwalking)
    Michael Wiskus (Pitts)
    Dan Buchanan (hang glider)
Debby Rihn-Harvey (think she flies a Sukhoi)
Dan Marcotte (biplane of some sort)
    David Brown (stock Stearman)

Last year Dan Dameo flew Skyboss (the AAM's Corsair) and the MAAM brought in Briefing Time (their B-25) for some flybys. There were also some primary trainers that flew during the show as well as a water drop by a NJ Forest Service Huey.

Thanks for the info Steven. I saw that poster hanging in a coffee shop that I frequent, so I took down the dates. Whoo hoo!! 8)

Fond memories of 4n1 - I did a lot of training out of that airport, and back in the 90's tons of touch and goes. 8)

I wonder how we got one down there. Anyway yea the show should be much bigger this year. We are expecting more reenactors, more vendors, and better acts. Hope to see you there.

    Trickie,

You've already got a quality lineup of acts for the show! I've been hearing that Wayne Boggs is the airboss this year?

As far as I know we are using David Schultz again for this year at least. I'm glad you like the lineup, I'm a frequent visitor to your website. You got some great video of the show last year! Will you be coming this September?

We are expecting the American Air Power Museum to bring their B-25 and some of their other aircraft mechanically permitting. We may getting some from the HAG museum in Geneseo, Maybe one or two from Mid Atlantic, and hopefully some privately owned warbirds as well. Last year there were about 9 aircraft that weren't able to make it for some reason or another so it is hard to say what will make it exactly. I can update this post as I get confirmations.
