New member here, so hello to everybody, and thought I would introduce my local airport, since I couldn't find any photos from there already here.
Flesland is the second largest airport in Norway when counting traffic. The biggest airlines are Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian.
Our runway is far from flat as you can see.
757's are sadly relatively rare in Europe, but happily a few airlines serving Flesland use them.
Air Baltic
Icelandair
Widerøe flies to Flesland with both Dash8-100's -300's and as pictured here Q400's.
Always good to see friendly pilots.
We have alot of helicopter traffic to Norways many oil installation. This is one of CHC Norway's brand new EC225's.
We rarely get intercontinental traffic, but in the summer we usually get a few flights from Japan with tourists coming to see the fjords.
This 727 arrived this saturday and was my first time seeing a 727 live. :)
So that's my short introduction of Flesland airport in Bergen, Norway.
If you would like to see more, I have a flickr account up and running.
