Hi, just returned from a trip to China. Weather at this time of the year is hot and humid in Shanghai. There were only few days with some hints of sunshine during the 2 weeks I was there. While leaving PVG, I spotted the Dragonair A-330 in its 25th anniversary color scheme. The Chinese calligraphy at the rear of the fuselage repeats "Serving your for 25 years".
Now this IS something worth looking at! What a great scheme and nice angle to catch the A333.
This is the type of images that I enjoy, classic airliner-on-tarmac side-on shot where the plane and exotic airline are the main attraction. I'm in love...
I did a bit research. The aircraft was rolled out with the new livery on June 10th to commemorate the 25th anniversary.
Just to show how things have evolved over the years, I flew KA 737-200 from SHA to HKG in 1990. In 1994, I flew their L-1011 between SHA and HKG. It was in 3-4-3 configuration in economy. In 1995, I flew their brand new A-330-300 from HKG to SHA.
