    New iPhone lines

So I reserved the new iPhone at Roosevelt Field, I figured I'd wait till after work and bypass the rush of people in the morning.... I get to the mall and there is a huge line. Easily over a hundred people here.... Good thing there is free wifi here :borat:

You always could on the lock screen. You just had to know how.

I know that and had one..but the lock screen wallpaper was pretty pointless considering its not part of the device you use all the time.

The reason why I didnt go to Roosevelt Field was because I knew it would be a riot. The Walt Whitman mall Apple store generally has less lines.

    Tom, you got it?

I dont get people. You could give the the phone free and paid with the first year service and I still would not leave the comfort of my bed to be there at 6 AM.

If I do want it, it will be there next week and the following week 8) .....
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

We all know people go crazy for Apple products. There is some unknown force that attracts people to them. If Apple re-made a unibody Apple Newton people would line up to get it.

Personally, I take Apple products for what they are.

No, I have an iPod and the new iOS4 OS runs the iTouch as well. I have the HTC Incredible with Google's Android OS on Verizon and love it. The iPhone is certainly a good device but the fact of the matter that cannot be disputed is that AT&T's network is terrible... For me its about the network your on. Using the iPhone on AT&T's network is driving a sports car hitting every red light. Verizon's network is just a better network, hands down.

Did you hear the one about an official with AT&T getting married to someone from Apple? The service was great, but the reception sucked.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

In the interests of disclosure, I have a 3G for two years now and do plan on upgrading in a few months to the 4 when the hysteria dies down. Here in the DFW area I haven't had an issue with reception/speed, but I've had more trouble in the Austin area prior to the infrastructure upgrades down there in the last year. NE San Antonio for some reason is a trouble zone for me.
